On the way to the airport, Matthew and Gilbert stopped by Arthur's house to drop off Alfred's stuff.
"Good afternoon, Arthur," Matthew said when the Brit opened the door.
"Afternoon, Mattie," Arthur said, "Thanks again for bringing Al's things. Appreciate it."
"No worries," Matthew insisted, "But might I ask why Alfred's not coming home?"
"Ah, yes. Well, Alfred and I have things we need to discuss Get things sorted. You understand, right?"
Matthew scratched his head. "I'm not sure I follow. Do you mean the thing about you and Alfred sleeping together?"
"What?! We did not do anything of that sort last night!" Arthur burst.
"No, I

Gilbert woke the next morning when Ludwig knocked on the basement door.
"Was?" Gilbert asked his brother tiredly rubbing his eyes and pulling on a pair of pants.
Ludwig looked him up and down. "You look terrible."
"Feel amazing, though."
"Were you up all night?"
"What time is it?"

"Yup. What do you want?"
"Phone call." Ludwig handed him a hand-set.
Gilbert took it sceptically. If anyone was calling him, they'd have called his phone, not Ludwig's.
"Hello?"

"Yes," Gilbert answered.
"May I speak to Matthew?"
"He's asleep. And why did you call Ludwig instead of my phone?"
"He

Alfred insisted that he and Matthew shared a bedroom so that Canadian was contemplating how he was going to get downstairs to Gilbert.
After an hour of sexting the Prussian, waiting for Alfred to fall asleep, Matthew decided to just up and leave. He crawled out of the single bed in the room slowly making sure not to make any sounds. Un fortunately, Kumajiro had been sleeping at the foot of his bed and had been jolted awake by cover movement.
"Who are you?" he asked Matthew in a non-whispering voice.
Matthew put a finger to his lip briskly but Alfred had already gotten up.
"Arthur, no! It wasn't me!" he mumbled slightly madly, "I didn't we

Matthew and Alfred waited outside Germany's house after knocking on the door. Ludwig opened the door.
"Guten tag, America and "
"Canada!" Gilbert suddenly appeared out of nowhere and catapulted himself at Matthew like a lovesick puppy.
"Gilbert!" Matthew said gleefully, "How are you?"
"Great now that you're here!" Gilbert kissed him.
Alfred couldn't help but want to puke. "Break it up. We're only staying here on the condition that you," he poked Gilbert in the chest, "stay away from Mattie."
"Oh, yeah?" Gilbert raised an eyebrow, "What'd you do if I didn't?"
"I'll beat you to a pulp!"
"Alfred!" Matthew said warningly.
"Oh, reall

"Sorry for the inconvenience, but our flight has been cancelled due to technical difficulties at our destination airport in Chicago. All passengers may exit the plane and will be able to retrieve their luggage at the blah, blah, blah, blah, "
Everyone on board whined in annoyance.
"This is your fault," Alfred said to Matthew as they took their things form the overhead compartments, "If you hadn't wasted your time with Gilbert, we'd have left earlier and we could have avoided this problem!"
"How the hell does that make any sense?! Airports don't work that way! This is your fault!" Matthew said poking Alfred in the chest, "I told you we
